Mumbai Saga: Mahesh Manjrekar to play Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray?

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta is currently directing gangster drama, Mumbai Saga which stars John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi in the leading roles. Akshay Kumar and Karan Johar rescue a stuntman who got injured during Good Newwz song launch

Akshay Kumar has always tried to do his bit for the community of stuntmen. Two years after he launched an insurance scheme for Bollywood's stuntmen, the actor once again rushed to the aid of two stunt artistes who were recently injured. Bittoo and Hari Singh, members of senior action director Sham Kaushal's stunt team, were injured during the rehearsals for a song launch from Good Newwz in Chandigarh. Though Kumar was not present at the scene, the actor along with Karan Johar promptly arranged for an air ambulance to fly one of them down to Mumbai for necessary medical treatment. Dabangg 3 asked to remove visuals of sadhus dancing but CBFC unlikely to comply

Religious intolerance get a new definition this week as a fundamentalist organization has asked the  Central Board Of Film Certification to remove visuals of Sadhus dressed as gods dancing with Salman Khan to the sound of 'Hud Hud Dabangg' . Says the Hindu Janjagruti Samiti, “If the movie happens to be on the lines of what we have seen in the trailer, it is extremely shocking depiction of Hindu deities and sadhus and also goes at great lengths to humiliate and poke fun at the basic foundations of Sanatana Dharma.” However, it is unlikely that the aforementioned  visuals will be removed from the film. Actor Pushpa Joshi, the grandmother from Ajay Devgn's Raid, passes away

She was probably the oldest debutante of Hindi cinema whose infectious energy and positive smile touched everyone. Pushpa Joshi, who was seen playing Saurabh Shukla's mother in Ajay Devgn starrer Raid, passed away on Tuesday. Her grandson Abhas Joshi earlier took to social media to tell us that she was put on life support. Raid director Raj Kumar Gupta mourned the aged actor's death on Twitter. Ever since the trailer of Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's Panipat hit the internet, it has been on the headlines. In the sequel to the hit franchise KGF , Raveena Tandon will be playing a politician whose look and ideology would be inspired by Mrs Indira Gandhi. This fact is not being divulged by the film’s team including leading man Yash and Raveena herself. Says a source close to the team, “Portraying any real politician is a very big risk these days. More often than not, you have a whole lot of disapproving protesting masses who want to stop the film.” So Raveena is very quietly studying Mrs Gandhi’s mannerisms and trying to imbibe them. Taiwanese-Canadian actor Godfrey Gao dies at the age of 35 while filming reality TV show

Taiwanese-Canadian actor Godfrey Gao, on Wednesday, passed due to sudden cardiac arrest while shooting a reality show in China. The actor  was shooting late-night for Zhejiang TV’s reality show Chase Me where contestants participate in several sports and are pitted against each other. He was 35.  “I am deeply saddened by the news. Godfrey was not only a client at one point but, more importantly, a friend. We will miss him dearly, and our hearts go out to his family, especially his parents,"  said Andrew Ooi, his friend and former manager at Echelon Talent.  "In the early hours of Nov. 27, our beloved Godfrey collapsed while filming on set. Following three hours of rescue efforts, he, unfortunately, left us. We are very shocked and saddened and even until now find it impossible to accept.
