Neha Dhupia completes 20 years in ‘front of camera’, says she did not think she will last long

Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia has completed two decades in the industry. Over the years she has appeared in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Punjabi films. Neha was interacting with the media at TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) Con Mumbai 2020 on Wednesday in Mumbai.

Talking about her journey in the industry, Neha said, "I have completed two decades not in Bollywood but in front of the camera. It feels amazing and when I started, I didn't think that I was going to last this long but I am glad I did."

Neha Dhupia made her acting debut as a child artist in a Malayalam film named Minnaram, which released in 1994. She made her Bollywood debut as heroine opposite Ajay Devgn in Qayamat: City Under Threat, and went onto work in films such as, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Shootout At Lokhandwala, Tumhari Sulu and Lust Stories among others.

Before making her debut as a Bollywood heroine with the film Qayamat: City Under Threat, Neha Dhupia won the Femina Miss India pageant in 2002 and represented India at the Miss Universe pageant, where she finished in the top 10.

When asked if she is planning to produce or direct a show, she said, "I am producing my own content called No Filter Neha. It's my own show but apart from that, I don't have anything on my mind right now."

Neha is currently shooting for the MTV reality show Roadies and is quite excited about the show. She has also featured in television shows like Chhote Miyan Dhakkad, Nautanki: The Comedy Theatre, BFFs with Vogue and No Filter Neha.

NCB arrests Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of cocaine

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. On the work front, Armaan Kohli has worked in films like Jaani Dushman and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo . Dwayne Johnson to reunite with Jumanji director Jake Kasdan for Christmas-themed adventure movie Red One

Filmmaker Jake Kasdan is reuniting with his Jumanji star Dwayne Johnson for Red One , the unique Christmas-themed feature project set up at Amazon. Hiram Garcia, the President of production of Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions created the original story which is now being translated into a script by Chris Morgan, who previously worked with Johnson on four Fast and Furious movies as well as the Johnson-led 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw . According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon picked up the project in June. The details are being kept in the sack but Red One , which is a tentative title, is described by Amazon as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.” Johnson is attached to star, possibly even as Santa himself, and is producing with his Seven Bucks Productions cohorts, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia.
