Sushant Singh Rajput never met Ankita Lokhande after their split

It is a little strange to see Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex Ankita Lokhande, with whom he split in 2016 never to look back, get so deeply involved in his life after his death. The truth is, she was no part of his life after they split in 2016. Once they moved apart, they moved away irreversibly to other directions, never to meet again.

Never to speak again. In fact I remember asking Sushant if he was in touch with Ankita since their split. His answer was a firm, “No not at all.” Now suddenly she is emphatically present in the thick of the tragedy. It is touching to see Ms Lokhande taking such a keen interest in getting justice for Sushant. But did she try even once to find out how he was when he had stopped meeting his old friends and withdrawn into a shell?

If even a fraction all the concern that is pouring in from every conceivable place had been spared during Sushant’s lifetime, perhaps he would have been with us today. It is easy to pin the blame on the last person who spent time with Sushant. But the fact is all those who are now shedding tears were not there for Sushant when he needed them the most.

Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to go on floors around June-July

Telugu film director Nag Ashwin is best known for his National Award winning film Mahanati that starred Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni. Now, the filmmaker is getting ready for his next big pan-India project which will star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film was announced last year and currently Nag is working on the pre-production of the film. The project, like many others, got delayed due to the pandemic. However, talking to a tabloid, Nag Ashwin said that he has been fine tuning the script and logistics. He also had his round of meetings with all three leads separately. He said that pre-production has been going on for a long time and that they will take the film on floors in June-July. Sunny Leone opens up about the #MeToo movement; says more people speaking up creates awareness

The #MeToo wave which started in the West, took over India in 2018. Several women took to social media to reveal about people who harassed them in the past. The movement also brought into light the names of several Bollywood celebrities. The movement started with Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta accusing Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct on the sets of the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleassss. Gradually, several other women started naming the likes of Vikas Bahl, Sajid Khan, Rajat Kapoor, Alok Nath, and Anu Malik for using their position to exploit women.
