Shooting in Himachal Pradesh for Hungama 2 with Meezan Jaffrey, Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal and others Priyan sighs, “I’ve shot in some of the most beautiful spots of earth. But none to compare with Himachal. It is by far the most beautiful place I’ve seen. I want to come back here for every film I direct.”

Priyadarshan says we must learn to respect our own culture. “Here in Himachal Pradesh I’ve discovered the most stunning locations, far more picturesque than anything in Switzerland or France. No mountains on earth can rival the majesty of the Himalayas. We must learn to value our own culture and heritage. Stop worshipping the West as the best.”

Priyan strongly recommends that we stop shooting in the West. “It is an unnecessary waste of resources and foreign exchange. India has some of the most camera-friendly locations and landscapes in the world. Why do we need to waste so much money time and energy travelling and shooting in foreign countries when we have it all here?”

Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to go on floors around June-July

Telugu film director Nag Ashwin is best known for his National Award winning film Mahanati that starred Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni. Now, the filmmaker is getting ready for his next big pan-India project which will star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film was announced last year and currently Nag is working on the pre-production of the film. The project, like many others, got delayed due to the pandemic. However, talking to a tabloid, Nag Ashwin said that he has been fine tuning the script and logistics. He also had his round of meetings with all three leads separately. He said that pre-production has been going on for a long time and that they will take the film on floors in June-July. Ashwin will once again be collaborating with Spanish cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez and composer Mickey J Meyer after Mahanati for the upcoming film. Sunny Leone opens up about the #MeToo movement; says more people speaking up creates awareness

The #MeToo wave which started in the West, took over India in 2018. Several women took to social media to reveal about people who harassed them in the past. The movement also brought into light the names of several Bollywood celebrities. The movement started with Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta accusing Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct on the sets of the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleassss. Gradually, several other women started naming the likes of Vikas Bahl, Sajid Khan, Rajat Kapoor, Alok Nath, and Anu Malik for using their position to exploit women.
