Rhea Kapoor, Guneet Monga and Tahira Kashyap to host the special screening of The Married Woman

With just a few days to go for the launch of ALTBalaji's The Married Woman, Rhea Kapoor, Guneet Monga, and Tahira Kashyap Khurrana wish to host a special screening of the show in Mumbai on 7th March, a day before the show's launch.

Not to forget that Ekta Kapoor, Guneet Monga, Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, and Ruchika Kapoor have recently launched an initiative called Indian Women Rising – A Cinema Collective in January this year, paving the way for women directors to flourish and come forward. Therefore bring out stories, 'of, by & for women!'

Since The Married Woman comes across as a very different show with an aspirational narrative revolving around women and their choices, Rhea Kapoor, Guneet Monga, and Tahira Kashyap Khurrana mutually wished to come together to host a special screening of the show. A show that talks about discovering oneself amidst societal conditioning have definitely touched the right strings across the power women trio. They came together to showcase their solidarity and support to Ekta Kapoor, for the piece of art based on renowned author Manju Kapur's book A Married Woman.

It's learnt that Ekta Kapoor is quite excited about The Married Woman and wants everyone to watch the show, especially the female populace.

The Married Woman is an urban relationship drama about women and their conditioning levied by society and her search to find herself. The show features Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra as the central characters and notable actors, including Imaad Shah, Ayesha Raza, Rahul Vohra, Divya Seth Shah, Nadira Babbar, and Suhaas Ahuja, among others. The show premieres on March 8, 2021.

NCB arrests Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of cocaine

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. On the work front, Armaan Kohli has worked in films like Jaani Dushman and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo . Dwayne Johnson to reunite with Jumanji director Jake Kasdan for Christmas-themed adventure movie Red One

Filmmaker Jake Kasdan is reuniting with his Jumanji star Dwayne Johnson for Red One , the unique Christmas-themed feature project set up at Amazon. Hiram Garcia, the President of production of Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions created the original story which is now being translated into a script by Chris Morgan, who previously worked with Johnson on four Fast and Furious movies as well as the Johnson-led 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw . According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon picked up the project in June. The details are being kept in the sack but Red One , which is a tentative title, is described by Amazon as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.” Johnson is attached to star, possibly even as Santa himself, and is producing with his Seven Bucks Productions cohorts, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia.
