Christopher Nolan's sci-fi thriller Tenet to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 31

Amazon Prime Video has got the long weekend locked and loaded with the premiere of the much anticipated sci-fi, spy thriller, Tenet on 31th March 2021. From the mind that brought audiences across the globe films like Inception and the Christian Bale Batman Trilogy, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises comes the sci-fi thriller Tenet starring John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Robert Pattinson, Michael CaineKenneth Branagh and India’s own Dimple Kapadia.

The film that took the critics and audiences by storm for its stellar performances, intriguing screenplay, layered plot, stunning cinematography, and brilliant high-octane action sequences will be available for Indian audiences in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Armed with only one word, Tenet, and fighting for the survival of the entire world, John David Washington, plays an international spy who journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold into something beyond real time. Filmed across seven countries, this intense thriller, will see a time travelling protagonist risking his own life to stop the inevitable catastrophe that could be bigger than World War III and a nuclear holocaust. Will he make it ‘back in time’ to save the world?

Actors Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are returning in the sequel of Hitman’s Bodyguard which released in 2017. This time, Salma Hayek joins the cast. Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to go on floors around June-July

Telugu film director Nag Ashwin is best known for his National Award winning film Mahanati that starred Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni. Now, the filmmaker is getting ready for his next big pan-India project which will star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film was announced last year and currently Nag is working on the pre-production of the film. The project, like many others, got delayed due to the pandemic. However, talking to a tabloid, Nag Ashwin said that he has been fine tuning the script and logistics. He also had his round of meetings with all three leads separately. He said that pre-production has been going on for a long time and that they will take the film on floors in June-July. Sunny Leone opens up about the #MeToo movement; says more people speaking up creates awareness

The #MeToo wave which started in the West, took over India in 2018. Several women took to social media to reveal about people who harassed them in the past. The movement also brought into light the names of several Bollywood celebrities. The movement started with Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta accusing Nana Patekar of sexual misconduct on the sets of the 2008 film Horn Ok Pleassss.
