SCOOP: Saif Ali Khan charges Rs. 12 crores to play the cop alongside gangster Hrithik Roshan in Vikram Vedha

Tanhaji was a game changer for Saif Ali Khan as following the film’s release, the actor has been on a roll signing on big projects one after the other. While Saif plays the baddie, Raavaan in Adipurush alongside Prabhas, he is gearing up to play a no-nonsense cop alongside Hrithik Roshan’s gangster in the Vikram Vedha remake. Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Saif has upped his acting fees.

“As Vikram Vedha is set to go on the floors this summer, we hear, all the paperwork was done recently. While the pay structure of Hrithik is kept under wraps, Saif Ali Khan has charged an upfront fee of Rs. 12 crores to come on board the film,” a little birdie reveals, adding further that this is the present market rate of the Nawab for every film that is being offered to him.

“Be it a two hero film or a solo project, Saif at present is charging anywhere in the range of Rs. 12 crores, depending on the scale and reach of the story. He has decided to sign on for prestigious projects that push his value in the market, and a look at his line up suggests that it’s a step taken in the right direction,” the birdie further revealed.

Vikram Vedha is directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, with Reliance Entertainment and Neeraj Pandey as the producer. We also heard that Neeraj has been closely involved with the script of Vikram Vedha in Hindi and will also get the due credit as a writer of the film. “He had brought in his sensibility of thrill to the story, making it appealing to audiences all across the country.” Vikram Vedha prep has already begun and the makers are set to take the film on floors by April end. NCB arrests Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of cocaine

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. On the work front, Armaan Kohli has worked in films like Jaani Dushman and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo . Dwayne Johnson to reunite with Jumanji director Jake Kasdan for Christmas-themed adventure movie Red One

Filmmaker Jake Kasdan is reuniting with his Jumanji star Dwayne Johnson for Red One , the unique Christmas-themed feature project set up at Amazon. Hiram Garcia, the President of production of Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions created the original story which is now being translated into a script by Chris Morgan, who previously worked with Johnson on four Fast and Furious movies as well as the Johnson-led 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw . According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon picked up the project in June. The details are being kept in the sack but Red One , which is a tentative title, is described by Amazon as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.” Johnson is attached to star, possibly even as Santa himself, and is producing with his Seven Bucks Productions cohorts, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia.
