Nushrratt Bharuccha becomes the only Indian female actor to earn a nomination for Best Actress at the Asian Contents Awards by Busan Film Festival

Nushrratt, who starred in the short film titled Khilauna directed by Raj Mehta, as part of the anthology Ajeeb Daastaans produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, garnered much praise for performance when the film was released on Netflix worldwide earlier this year. Continuing the same graph, being recognized by the Asian Contents Awards 2021 adds another feather to the cap.

Expressing her excitement on being nominated, Nushrratt tweeted, "Ecstatic to be nominated by @busanfilmfest 2021 for its 3rd Asia Contents Awards. Feel honored to see my name alongside other talented actors from different countries. Ajeeb Daastaans journey is still getting sweeter by the day."


ACA is the commitment of Busan Int'l Film Festival (BIFF) to encourage more original productions and better creatives by recognizing outstanding content and talented professionals in the Asian region. The winners for this year will be announced soon.

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. On the work front, Armaan Kohli has worked in films like Jaani Dushman and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo . Dwayne Johnson to reunite with Jumanji director Jake Kasdan for Christmas-themed adventure movie Red One

Filmmaker Jake Kasdan is reuniting with his Jumanji star Dwayne Johnson for Red One , the unique Christmas-themed feature project set up at Amazon. Hiram Garcia, the President of production of Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions created the original story which is now being translated into a script by Chris Morgan, who previously worked with Johnson on four Fast and Furious movies as well as the Johnson-led 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw . According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon picked up the project in June. The details are being kept in the sack but Red One , which is a tentative title, is described by Amazon as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.” Johnson is attached to star, possibly even as Santa himself, and is producing with his Seven Bucks Productions cohorts, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia.
