SHINee’s Minho and Chae Soo Bin to star in Netflix romance drama Fabulous

SHINee’s Minho and Chae Soo Bin will reportedly star in the upcoming Netflix drama Fabulous. Since his discharge from military, Minho has been making special appearances in dramas, but this will be his first lead role since his return to music and drama world.

Korean news agency JTBC News, on September 28, reported that Chae Soo Bin and Minho were cast as the leads of the drama and the filming is expected to begin soon. As reported by Soompi, a source from Chae Soo Bin’s agency King Kong by Starship stated to Newsen, “She has received a casting offer and is in talks.”

A source from SM Entertainment similarly stated, “Choi Minho has been offered the role of the main character Ji Woo Min and is positively reviewing it.”

The story offour young men and women who have thrown themselves into the fashion industry, Fabulous will portray their work, passion, romance, and friendships, said to be a realistic romance drama about the daily lives of modern men and women who live in the city and follow a single life.

Chae Soo Bin has been reportedly offered the role of Pyo Ji Eun, an optimistic and positive woman who has worked at a high-end fashion agency for five years. She never backs down from a challenge and actively takes charge of her own life whereas Minho can be seen playing the freelance photo retoucher Ji Woo Min who is often called a playboy. He’s handsome, tall, and long-legged like a movie star, but he’s unaccustomed to expressing his emotions properly. He never puts his best effort into anything he does, but he has never failed at anything his whole life.

Fabulous will give a glimpse into the lives of those in the fashion industry who set the latest trends, while at the same time showing their hidden sides behind all the glamor. The relatable reality and romance depicted in the drama will remind viewers of their own lives on social media.

On the work front, Minho is currently starring in drama Yumi’s Cells whereas Chae Soo Bin was last featured in 2020 drama A Piece Of Your Mind.

Penned by Kim Hee and produced by Gil Pictures of “Stove League” and “One the Woman,” the series“Fabulous” will be released on Netflix in 2022.

NCB arrests Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of cocaine

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. On the work front, Armaan Kohli has worked in films like Jaani Dushman and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo . Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek starrer The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard to now release on June 16

Actors Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are returning in the sequel of Hitman’s Bodyguard which released in 2017. This time, Salma Hayek joins the cast. Titled The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard , Lionsgate and Millennium have announced that the film will now release on June 16. Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to go on floors around June-July

Telugu film director Nag Ashwin is best known for his National Award winning film Mahanati that starred Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni. Now, the filmmaker is getting ready for his next big pan-India project which will star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film was announced last year and currently Nag is working on the pre-production of the film. The project, like many others, got delayed due to the pandemic. However, talking to a tabloid, Nag Ashwin said that he has been fine tuning the script and logistics. He also had his round of meetings with all three leads separately. He said that pre-production has been going on for a long time and that they will take the film on floors in June-July. Ashwin will once again be collaborating with Spanish cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez and composer Mickey J Meyer after Mahanati for the upcoming film.
