Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Fiona Shaw join Ryan Reynolds for John Krasinski’s upcoming fantasy-comedy

English actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Irish actress Fiona Shaw are confirmed to join the ensemble cast of John Krasinski‘s upcoming untitled fantasy-comedy for Paramount. In addition to directing and writing the high-profile movie, Krasinski will also be starring opposite Ryan Reynolds, as previously announced. While the plot details are kept under wraps, the story is said to be based on an original idea of Krasinski’s about a child’s journey to rediscover their imagination.

Waller-Bridge is the Emmy-winning creator of the hit British series Fleabag and Killing Eve (she also starred in the former). The British writer-actress-producer is currently in production on Indiana Jones 5 and contributed to the script of the latest James Bond film, No Time to Die.

Waller-Bridge and Shaw will be reuniting after Shaw starred in Killing Eve and guest-starred on Fleabag. She also earned Emmy nominations for both. Shaw’s other credits include playing Aunt Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter movies, and Ammonite. Upcoming, the Irish actress will appear in the Star Wars series Andor for Disney+.

Krasinski is producing the untitled film with his Sunday Night partners Allyson Seeger and Andrew Form. Reynolds is also a producer via his company, Maximum Effort; while Maximum Effort’s George Dewey will executive produce.Both Krasinski and Reynolds’ production banners have first-look deals with Paramount. The Maximum Effort pact was struck when former 20th Century Fox production chief Emma Watts who shepherded Reynolds’ Deadpool franchise came to Paramount in mid-2020 but has recently departed.

The shooting for untitled fantasy-comedy is expected to being shooting summer 2022and is scheduled to have a Thanksgiving 2023 release.

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek starrer The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard to now release on June 16

Actors Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are returning in the sequel of Hitman’s Bodyguard which released in 2017. This time, Salma Hayek joins the cast. Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to go on floors around June-July

Telugu film director Nag Ashwin is best known for his National Award winning film Mahanati that starred Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni. Now, the filmmaker is getting ready for his next big pan-India project which will star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film was announced last year and currently Nag is working on the pre-production of the film. The project, like many others, got delayed due to the pandemic. However, talking to a tabloid, Nag Ashwin said that he has been fine tuning the script and logistics. He also had his round of meetings with all three leads separately. He said that pre-production has been going on for a long time and that they will take the film on floors in June-July. Ashwin will once again be collaborating with Spanish cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez and composer Mickey J Meyer after Mahanati for the upcoming film.
