Shah Rukh Khan’s close friend and business partner Juhi Chawla appears in court to sign a bail surety of Rs. 1 lakh for Aryan Khan

Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's son Aryan Khan was granted bail on Thursday by the Bombay High Court. A detailed bail order was issued by Justice Sambre on Friday afternoon. The HC set 14 conditions for Aryan Khan's bail which included a PR Bond of Rs. 1 lakh and surrendering his passport.

As soon as the bail order was issued by the HC, Aryan Khan's legal team immediately started with the further procedures to release him from Arthur Road Jail. On Friday evening, Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla appeared at a session court in Mumbai to sign a bail surety of Rs. 1 lakh for Aryan Khan. She is a long-time friend of SRK and his family and also co-owns the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders with Khan.

In the court, senior Advocate Satish Maneshinde informed the court that Juhi is the surety, and her passport and Aadhar were shown as proof of identity. “She (Juhi) knows him since birth. Since the father and she are professionally associated," he said as Juhi stood in the witness box.

Juhi gets out of the witness box after the sessions court judge verifies all details.

Meanwhile, Maneshinde also makes a request to the court. "My one request on behalf of the other accused, even though I am not appearing for them. Release them on bail. Regarding the case, nothing is left, sir,” he said. Maneshinde said the same thing happened in Rhea Chakraborty's case. Once she was out, everyone got bail.

After verification from the judge, Juhi Chawla headed to the Registrar's cabin to sign the bail surety documents.

Aryan Khan was represented by Advocate Satish Maneshinde and his legal team. The former Attorney general of India Mukul Rohatgi argued for Aryan at the Bombay High Court.

Aryan is expected to be home tonight.

NCB arrests Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of cocaine

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. He was caught possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence which was against the law. On the work front, Armaan Kohli has worked in films like Jaani Dushman and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo . Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan to go on floors around June-July

Telugu film director Nag Ashwin is best known for his National Award winning film Mahanati that starred Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Akkineni. Now, the filmmaker is getting ready for his next big pan-India project which will star Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone. The film was announced last year and currently Nag is working on the pre-production of the film. The project, like many others, got delayed due to the pandemic. However, talking to a tabloid, Nag Ashwin said that he has been fine tuning the script and logistics. He also had his round of meetings with all three leads separately. He said that pre-production has been going on for a long time and that they will take the film on floors in June-July.
