Salman Khan to play Indian spy agent Ravindra Kaushik in a film co-produced by Alvira and Atul Agnihotri

Salman Khan is currently busy promoting his recently released film Antim-The Final Truth. The film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and co-starring Aayush Sharma is the superstar's first theatrical release post the pandemic.

Salman Khan also has Tiger 3 in the pipeline, the shoot of which is underway. The Tiger series sees him play the role of a RAW agent Tiger. Now, the actor has confirmed that he will be seen playing the role of real-life Indian spy agent Ravindra Kaushik in a film which will be co-produced by his sister Alvira Agnihotri and his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. Earlier this year, there were reports of the actor bringing the story of agent Kaushik on screen and now he has confirmed the same.

This will be the first time in his 3-decade-long career that Salman will be seen essaying a real-life character. Reportedly, the film will be set in the era of the 70s and 80s and will be a dramatic thriller.

For the unversed, Agent Ravindra Kaushik is regarded as India's best spy to ever penetrate the ranks of the Pakistan Army. Popularly known as Black Tiger, Kaushik loved theatre and performing on stage, which led to the RAW spotting him and utilizing his talents for the country. He was sent to Pakistan, where he completed his LLB and joined the army, and became a commissioned officer. From 1979 to 1983 he passed on critical information to the Indian defense forces which were of great help.

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested actor Armaan Kohli for illegal possession of drugs, on August 29. On Saturday, August 28, the actor's residence was raided after which the same evening, he was taken to NCB office for questioning. According to the reports, on Saturday, a team of the anti-drugs agency had intercepted one major drug peddler, Ajay Raju Singh. He was in possession of illegal drugs. The same day, the agency launched a follow up operation after interrogation of Singh. Following his inputs, the agency headed to Armaan Kohli's house. As per reports, a small quantity of cocaine was recovered. Armaan Kohli was arrested in 2018 by the Excise department. Dwayne Johnson to reunite with Jumanji director Jake Kasdan for Christmas-themed adventure movie Red One

Filmmaker Jake Kasdan is reuniting with his Jumanji star Dwayne Johnson for Red One , the unique Christmas-themed feature project set up at Amazon. Hiram Garcia, the President of production of Johnson's Seven Bucks Productions created the original story which is now being translated into a script by Chris Morgan, who previously worked with Johnson on four Fast and Furious movies as well as the Johnson-led 2019 spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw . According to The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon picked up the project in June. The details are being kept in the sack but Red One , which is a tentative title, is described by Amazon as “a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.” Johnson is attached to star, possibly even as Santa himself, and is producing with his Seven Bucks Productions cohorts, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia.
